The “Orchid Ladies” were designed as a precursor to the “Orchid-ing Me!” spread, inspired by the Orchidelirium trend of the Victorian Era’s Art Nouveau movement. During this period, orchids became symbols of opulence, with elitists commissioning hunters to procure rare varieties. This body of work reimagines authentic vintage pin-up illustrations by integrating botanical classification imagery of various orchid species, treating each petal as a couture element within a high-fashion context. Through digital painting and advanced masking techniques in Adobe Photoshop, the compositions achieve a seamless fusion of botanical form and stylized femininity, reflecting a harmonious visual symbiosis.
“Drink Ticket” is a conceptual print magazine guided by the philosophy of the martini—a timeless, versatile symbol of luxury. Honoring the cocktail as both a facilitator of connection and a purveyor of elegance, the project reimagines iconic trends from past decades, all preserved within a singular imagined world: Mars-tini, a surrealist dreamscape intended to bring home the surrealist. Inspired by the cheeky anecdotes of the 1950s, each spread fuses elements of old Hollywood glamor, retro-futurism, and Art Nouveau advertising, serving as a vibrant reflection of the artist’s distinct personality and creative vision.
