The “Orchid-ing Me!” spread builds upon the conceptual framework of “Drink Ticket Magazine”, offering a visually rich extension of its narrative culture. On the left page, a digitally illustrated product advertisement anchors the layout, while the right page showcases a stylized drop cap design that elegantly frames a vintage pin-up illustration. Both visuals have been meticulously reimagined through advanced digital techniques including painting, masking, and puppet warp. The result is a cohesive visual experience defined by intricate detail and a strong sense of artistic identity.
“Drink Ticket” is a conceptual print magazine guided by the philosophy of the martini—a timeless, versatile symbol of luxury. Honoring the cocktail as both a facilitator of connection and a purveyor of elegance, the project reimagines iconic trends from past decades, all preserved within a singular imagined world: Mars-tini, a surrealist dreamscape intended to bring home the surrealist. Inspired by the cheeky anecdotes of the 1950s, each spread fuses elements of old Hollywood glamor, retro-futurism, and Art Nouveau advertising, serving as a vibrant reflection of the artist’s distinct personality and creative vision.
