
“Residential IV” is a return to the domestic stage following the assumption of an autonomous state. It illustrates the cyclicality of cultural standards, as well as the constant conditions of femininity.
The “Residential” series is a visual study of domestic femininity as performance. Each frame fractures an illusion, revealing the woman beneath the role reaching for authorship she was never granted. The viewer’s curiosity becomes a voyeuristic act, complicit in transforming ritual into spectacle.
